Homegrown in Vermont Music Festival is a two-day celebration of local artists and musicians on the village green at Spruce Peak. This festival promises a weekend filled with incredible live performances, showcasing the vibrant and diverse music scene of Vermont. This festival is more than just a series of concerts; it’s a celebration of Vermont’s rich musical heritage and the talented artists who call this beautiful state home. Whether you’re a long-time fan of local music or discovering these artists for the first time, the Homegrown in Vermont Music Festival promises an inspiring and entertaining weekend for all.

Join us for an unforgettable musical experience as we bring together a lineup of talented local artists, each bringing their unique sounds and styles to the stage. The event will also feature activities for the kids and food from the Spruce Peak vendors.

Being such a leader requires us to serve as many members of our community as possible, both audience members and artists. What a perfect way to do just that with two exciting days on the beautiful Spruce Peak Green highlighting some of Vermont’s finest musicians and allowing their amazing music to do what can do best-bring our various communities together in celebration.”

Saturday, July 6:

Christine Malcolm: Kick off the festival with the soulful and heartfelt tunes of Christine Malcolm, whose music resonates with stories of love, life, and everything in between.
Ryan Sweezey and the Midnight Walkers: Led by its award-winning frontman, rising Vermont band Ryan Sweezey and the Midnight Walkers adds its catchy and meaningful pop/rock songs.
Milton Busker & The Grim Work: Experience the eclectic blend of folk, rock, and soul from Milton Busker, known for his dynamic performances and powerful vocals.
The Grift: The Grift shows are energetic and original, with band members swapping instruments and occasionally playing two at a time. Their sound defies easy categorization, blending booty-shaking grooves and improvisation with radio-friendly hooks, witty lyrics, and tight vocal harmonies.
Billy Wylder: Billy Wylder play lively art-rock with global grooves that make you want to dance! The band features Avi Salloway (Bombino/Avi & Celia) joined by an inspired cast of singular artists who have performed across five continents.
Troy Millette & The Fire Below: End the night with the rocking sounds of Troy Millette & The Fire Below, a band that knows how to deliver a memorable performance.

Sunday, July 7:

Lesley Grant: Start your Sunday with the enchanting voice and poetic songwriting of Lesley Grant, whose music is sure to touch your heart.
Andriana and the Bananas: Get ready for a fun and lively performance from Andriana and The Bananas, blending various genres into a unique and entertaining sound.
Jaded Ravins: Savor the rich harmonies and compelling storytelling of Jaded Ravins, a duo who bring you country rock originals with lyrics that pull at the heartstrings.
Fern Maddie: Discover the hauntingly beautiful sounds of Fern Maddie, whose folk-inspired music is both timeless and fresh.
Wild Leek River: Hailing from Northern Vermont, Wild Leek River is a regular 5-piece country band. The songs they play vibrate with sounds of new and old, steady back-beats and good stories.
Maple Run Band: Close the festival with the Americana and country-infused tunes of Maple Run, a band that captures the essence of homegrown music.

The inaugural Homegrown in Vermont Festival is only made possible thanks to the generosity of our Lights Festival Campaign donors. “Lights Fest” is an annual opportunity for our community to raise funds for a specific educational, community, or capital initiative. Last year’s campaign raised over $30,000 to support Vermont’s brilliant musicians and artists, highlighting the enormous talent of our neighbors and community members.
