Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Get your broom sticks and ready your wands, as we bring Hogwarts to the Spruce Peak Arts big screen! Join us for a screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, October 30 at 6PM. The first of J.K. Rowling’s legendary tales follows young Harry Potter, who on his eleventh birthday, discovers that he’s the son of two powerful wizards and has some serious magic skills of his own. Suddenly, he’s propelled from his drab life into a world of wizardry, as he joins the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in England. Join us for an evening of magic and mystery as we explore the wizarding world! 

Wizard attire and Halloween wear are acceptable at this celebration viewing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. If you prefer Muggle garments, you will not qualify for the cauldron of prizes sponsored by our wizard friends at Once Upon a Time toys in Stowe.

About Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
The adaptation of the first of J.K. Rowling’s popular children’s novels about Harry Potter, a boy who learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. He is summoned from his life as an unwanted child to become a student at Hogwarts, an English boarding school for wizards. There, he meets several friends who become his closest allies and help him discover the truth about his parents’ mysterious deaths at the hands of a powerful adversary.
