This session will focus on you! What song do you want to belt form a stage or what scene would you love to act out with a friend? We will spend the week exploring your talents in an intimate, intensive, small group session.
The leading group is Kristin Marchilena. Kristin has her master’s degrees in Vocal Pedagogy and Education. She is a Music teacher and Arts Department chair in a local private school. She has leadership, teaching and training in New York City, as well as choirs in Vermont.
Kristin states, “I am a 16-year veteran vocal specialist with a strong instrumental background. While my students achieve high levels of excellence in performance, most important in my classroom is a sense of belonging for all students. My pedagogical priorities are student engagement, autonomy, community, and listening. The changing adolescent voice is my primary research focus, particularly with regard to motivation and engagement. I have a special interest in the vocal development of transgender and gender-fluid students.”
Tuition Assistance is available for all the camps.
