Praised by the New Music Connoisseur for her “technical certainty and musical imagination,” French double bassist Pascale Delache-Feldman has been described as “a gifted colorist who produced an entire range of orchestral effects” (Boston Phoenix).
A committed educator and entrepreneurial musician, Ms. Delache-Feldman founded and directs the Boston Bass Bash, as well as the Family Chamber Music Fest — Online Edition. Inspired to create more performance opportunities for young talented musicians, Pascale fosters connection and communication through music. With a strong interest in expanding the repertoire, Ms. Delache-Feldman has premiered over 50 works ranging from John Adams and Mario Davidovsky to Pierre Boulez.
A second-generation bassist, Pascale studied at the Paris Conservatory and the Curtis Institute of Music where she received her Artist Diploma. Through her training with peak performance coach Don Greene, her Feldenkrais Method and Tai Chi studies, Pascale brings a wealth of perspective to her teaching and residency work, creating personalized workshops for musicians and broader audiences.
