The Count Basie Orchestra, founded by legendary pianist and bandleader William James “Count” Basie, remains a global force in Jazz over 30 years after his passing. Now led by Scotty Barnhart, their dynamic blend of swing, blues, and improvisation has captivated audiences in film, television, and on prestigious stages worldwide.
What To Bring: A picnic blanket or folding chairs, sunscreen & sunglasses, insect repellant, water, and comfortable layers.
Food & Beverages: Patrons are welcome to bring their own food and drink. There are no food/alcohol vendors onsite at the meadow.
Seating: Seating is picnic-style and on a first come, first served basis. Chairs and blankets are permitted. There are designated, well-marked areas for blankets, low-back chairs and high-back chairs. These areas reflect our seating policy to guarantee each concert-attendee a view of the stage.
Dogs/Pets: There are no dogs/pets allowed at The Meadow (Service Animals are exception)
This is a rain or shine event however, in the event of inclement weather we may exercise the option to move inside to Spruce Peak Arts, which has a capacity of 400. If you would like to attend the performance indoors, an Indoor Upgrade can be added to your cart at checkout. This upgrade guarantees you a seat inside the theater in the event of a weather-related relocation. If you do not purchase the Indoor Upgrade, indoor access and seating cannot be guaranteed. Please note all tickets are non-refundable, even if the show is moved inside.
