The Annual Homegrown in Vermont Music Festival returns for its 3rd year!

The signature event for Spruce Peak Arts’ core service initiative is bigger than ever as it presents a full day of nonstop music from 20+ Vermont artists, culminating in a special performance from Ryan Miller of Guster and Vermont’s own, Freeway Clyde. Focused entirely on helping Vermont artists grow and entirely community funded Homegrown is truly your festival, and these are your artists.  Join your neighbors at the base of Mount Mansfield and enjoy the natural beauty of Vermont paired with a soundtrack only our Homegrown artists can provide.  

 

The evening will conclude with a reimagination of Wildflowers by Tom Petty, presented by Ryan Miller & Freeway Clyde.  Ryan Miller returns to headline the festival he calls “a labor of love” driven by his own strong desire to help elevate our great Vermont musicians.  Using Petty’s beloved album as a canvas, Ryan and Freeway Clyde are thrilled to collaborate on a project that invites their creativity to run wild. Drawing on each of their individual artistic strengths, these 8 Vermont-based musicians will work their orchestral magic and make the night one to remember.  

 

Just like wildflowers, local artists play a huge role in the artistic ecosystem of Vermont. At Spruce Peak Arts, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of creators, technicians, and leaders in the arts in Vermont. We aim to elevate and sustain the remarkable talent within our own community, offering meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and long-term success.

 

Through this program, participating artists and students have access to education, mentorship, and professional development, along with real-world, paid opportunities designed to support and encourage you as you continue your creative path with confidence. Thanks to the success of this community funded initiative, our Homegrown Artists have gotten to share the stage with artists such as The Revivalists, Rosanne Cash, Matt Quinn (Mt Joy), Jonathan Russell (The Head and the Heart), and more.
